Does this feel familiar?

You are capable. You are caring. And you are tired.

You take care of everyone else while your own needs keep slipping to the bottom of the list. You know something needs to change, but you may not know where to begin.

  • You feel emotionally exhausted or easily overwhelmed.
  • Setting boundaries brings guilt or second-guessing.
  • You know which habits would help, but struggle to sustain them.
  • You are questioning what you want from this next season.

Elizabeth “Beth” Floyd, FNP-C, emotional fitness coach

Meet Beth

Professional experience. Personal understanding. Practical support.

I’m Elizabeth “Beth” Floyd, a family nurse practitioner and emotional fitness coach with formal training in health and life coaching. After years of caring for people during stressful and vulnerable moments, I have seen how closely emotional well-being, daily habits, and physical health are connected.

I created this coaching practice to give women a supportive place to slow down, recognize what is keeping them overwhelmed or stuck, and develop practical skills for navigating midlife with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Within this business, I serve exclusively as an emotional fitness coach—not as a medical provider.

Also welcoming young adult women

A place to find your footing.

Early adulthood can bring pressure around relationships, confidence, boundaries, and school or career decisions. I also welcome women 18 and older who want a supportive space to build emotional skills and navigate what comes next.

Questions, answered

What to expect

Clear information so you can decide whether coaching feels right for you.

What is emotional fitness coaching?

Emotional fitness coaching helps you develop practical skills for handling stress, regulating emotions, setting healthy boundaries, and recovering from life’s challenges. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you overwhelmed or stuck and create realistic strategies that support greater confidence, resilience, and well-being.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses primarily on your present circumstances, future goals, and practical actions that can help you create meaningful change. Therapy is provided by a licensed mental-health professional and may include diagnosing and treating mental-health conditions or processing trauma. Coaching is not a replacement for psychotherapy or mental-health treatment.

Is this medical care?

No. Although I am a family nurse practitioner, I provide these services solely in my role as an emotional fitness coach. Coaching does not include medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or individualized medical advice, and it does not establish a patient-provider relationship.

What training and experience do you have?

I am a family nurse practitioner with formal training in health and life coaching. My professional background has given me extensive experience helping people navigate stress, behavior change, competing responsibilities, and challenging seasons of life. Within this business, I serve exclusively as an emotional fitness coach.

Who is coaching designed for?

My coaching is designed primarily for women who feel stressed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck—particularly those navigating midlife changes, burnout, caregiving responsibilities, changing relationships, or a new season of life. I also welcome young adult women 18 and older seeking support with confidence, boundaries, relationships, and life decisions. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from coaching.

What happens during a coaching session?

Each session begins with a conversation about what has been happening, what feels most important, and where you would like support. We may explore patterns, clarify priorities, practice an emotional-fitness skill, or identify a realistic next step. You will leave with greater clarity and one or two manageable actions to practice.

Are sessions virtual, and how often will we meet?

Yes. Sessions are conducted virtually. Most clients meet every one to two weeks, providing enough consistency to maintain momentum while allowing time to practice new skills between sessions.

Is coaching covered by health insurance?

Coaching is a private, self-pay service and is generally not covered by health insurance. I do not submit insurance claims or provide documentation for insurance reimbursement.

What if I need more support than coaching can provide?

If another type of support would better meet your needs, I will encourage you to contact an appropriate healthcare or mental-health professional. Coaching is not appropriate for emergencies or severe emotional distress. If you are in immediate danger or considering harming yourself or someone else, call 911 or call or text 988.

Your next step

You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Begin with a relaxed 15-minute conversation about what is bringing you to coaching, what you hope to change, and whether my approach feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to enroll.
